On Wednesday, Fox Sports will be airing its live coverage of the 2017-18 NFL season on Thursday, April 14, at 9 p.m.
The show will be streamed online at foxsports.com.
In the meantime, enjoy this preview of what you should be watching this week:The NFL season begins Monday night with the Cleveland Browns taking on the Seattle Seahawks at 6:30 p.M.
ET on ABC.
It’s a Sunday night game, so the show will likely be delayed slightly from its usual time slot of 8:30 a.m.-10 p.p.m., according to a Fox Sports spokesperson.
If you miss the broadcast, there will be an early-morning delay for a full 12-hour window starting at 7 a.M.-10 a.
(the NFL says that’s still an option, though you should still try to get to the game as soon as possible.)
The game kicks off with a commercial break and includes a segment of the broadcast showing the Browns quarterback throwing a touchdown pass to running back T.J. Yeldon in the first quarter of the game.
The Browns are coming off a win over the Indianapolis Colts last Thursday, so it’s safe to say the team is on a roll.
Yeldon, the Browns third-round pick in the 2017 NFL draft, has a lot of talent.
He’s the type of player that can make all the plays and the Browns have been able to utilize that talent a lot, according to Fox Sports’ Dan Patrick.
“The Browns have scored touchdowns on nine of their 12 possessions this season.
The NFL has had nine different quarterbacks score touchdowns in a game, including two in Week 1.”
The Browns also have the league’s best defense.
Cleveland’s defense is giving up just 18.5 points per game, second-best in the NFL behind only the Seattle Raiders.
But the Browns defense is also allowing just 24.5 yards per play, third-best.
The Bengals are coming into this week’s game having won their last three games, including a home victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
They are playing with more energy and confidence than they have in weeks.
They’re also the best defense in the AFC North, according the NFL’s official defensive metrics.
It would take a huge turnaround by Cincinnati to come away with the win.
That would also include a late, late-game comeback.
The Chargers are also coming off their first win of the season, defeating the New York Jets 34-30 in Week 6.
That win came after San Diego was down 14-7 in the fourth quarter with 2:53 left in the game, according a Chargers spokesperson.
That victory was their first since beating the Oakland Raiders on Oct. 27, 2016, and their third victory over an AFC West opponent since the start of the 2019 season.
The Broncos have been playing well this year, with a 2-1 record and a home win over Houston on Thursday night.
Denver will host the Washington Redskins on Saturday.
The Broncos offense is averaging 29.7 points per contest, fourth-best among offenses in the league.
However, the defense has allowed just 16.5 per game.
The Chiefs are coming in with the NFL-leading record at 8-1, and the only losing record at 6-6.
However the Chiefs have a lot to prove, as they’ve lost four of their past five games.
The only loss was a 34-28 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Nov. 5.
The Bills have been on a tear since they made the playoffs in 2015.
They’ve had their two wins this season coming against the Seattle Chiefs and the Houston Texans, with each team giving up an average of 100.5 rushing yards per game (second-best), and scoring 20.7 or more points (second).
That’s a lot better than their 4-8 record last year.
The Bills defense has been especially good, allowing just 11.5 passing yards per attempt (second) and 10.3 rushing yards (second), according to the NFL.
The Patriots have a three-game winning streak and are playing better than they’ve played since last season.
They have beaten the Dallas Texans, Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins, as well as the Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks, according an NFL spokesperson.
They also have two games against the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars and the New Orleans Saints, according Fox Sports.
The Giants have won five straight games, which is a stretch that is just too long for the team.
They lost two straight games and have just three victories in the past six games.
However they’re averaging just 19.3 points per outing, third worst in the NFC East.
