MSNBC contributor Andrew R. Lax said on Tuesday that he believes the “best prediction” he’s ever made is that the New Year’s Eve moon will turn red and the planets Venus and Mars will go into hibernation.
“The planets will not be active, the moon will not have a bright star in it, so it will be an extremely quiet night,” he said.
Laid out in his forecast are four planets in total, which Lax believes are “likely to be in a hibernation mode.”
“I’m hoping that the planets, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter will hibernate and hibernalize,” he added.
“If that’s not possible, I think that the moons of Jupiter and Saturn will also hibernage.”
The prediction was made during a radio show on SiriusXM’s “Astrology Radio Hour.”
Lax is a New York Times best-selling author, an astrologer, and a frequent guest on Sirius radio.
He has written three books and several books on astrology.
His prediction has garnered nearly 500,000 Facebook likes, according to the website astrologymagazine.com.
